Meet The Hosts 2: Adora Oleh


Adora Oleh is definitely no stranger to TV screens across the globe. Having worked as a presenter on Channel 4 and MTV in the UK as well as European and African television stations, her popularity continues to increase. Born and raised in Surrey England, she is the eldest of three children. Adora graduated into show business via the catwalk when she modelled for Channel 4’s ‘The Big Breakfast’ one of the UK’s most popular breakfast shows. 
Her sparkling personality and sense of humour made her a resident model on the fashion segment and she appeared on the live show for two and half years. Although she acquired an earlier taste for the bright lights when she entered the Miss London Beauty Pageant; she used the opportunity to raise money for the Marie Curie Cancer Trust and was awarded fundraiser of the year. Adora came fourth in the competition, which in turn opened major doors for her in the modelling world. 
Adora’s success on television continued after The Big Breakfast, when she made her debut in presenting on the fashion TV station TOPSHOP TV in London as a Fashion Correspondent. She interviewed designers, top models and reviewed key fashion trends. Her time there gave her crucial techniques and experience which enabled her to make the transition from fashion to music, as a correspondent for MTV Base in 2002. 
As a Journalist and TV Presenter, in 2005 Adora presented and produced The Magazine Show Live on Sky channel, Ben TV, one of the largest providers of wholesome entertainment to the Black and Ethnic audience across the UK and Europe. Adora has interviewed an array of different personalities, from RnB singer Joe, Quentin Tarantino, 2 face Idibia, John Legend, D’banj, 50 Cent, P Squared, Damien Marley, Sasha and and Amerie to business entrepreneurs, international presidential hopefuls, Governors, Ministers and Ambassadors. Over the years Adora has been involved in a number of prestigious events including The Prince’s Trust Urban Music Festival, The Mobo Awards and hosting The This Day Music and Fashion Festival at the Royal Albert Hall. In addition Adora has hosted numerous award shows including The Nigerian Music Awards, The Ghana Professional Awards, Afro Hollywood Awards and Miss Nigeria UK to name a few. Around the same time Adora started her own Television Production and Events Management Company, Chiad Productions, which was formed with her sister Chika Oleh. Chiad Productions over the years has worked on numerous events and co-produces The Magazine Show and The Ben TV Top Ten music show. Currently Chiad is working on the second instalment of The Adora Oleh Show, Adora’s new entertainment show designed to motivate inspire and educate.
